Hi there!

I’m Katherine Howard, but you can call me Katie!

Born in 1524, I became the fifth wife of King Henry VIII at just 16, but my youthful indiscretions led to my arrest and execution for adultery and treason by 19.

In this lifetime, however, I was raised in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C., where my love for art blossomed from a young age. As the youngest and only girl in my family, I thrived in the spotlight, writing songs, directing original performances, and eventually diving into dance and theater. Theater has been my passion because it’s all about connection, and I find that every person I meet enriches my storytelling.

Studying Musical Theater at Pace University in Manhattan was the most amazing experience. I’ve been living in the cheapest apartments I can find all over New York City since moving here for school in 2020. An unexpected new passion of mine developed through clowning class in college, which led me to explore Commedia dell'arte, improv, and sketch comedy. I love everything British - the Great British Baking Show, the Crown, and Jane Austen novels remind me of my past as the wife of Henry VIII. Known for being “intolerably optimistic,” I’m excited for my post-grad life where I’ll be diving into my acting career while juggling various jobs, from teaching baby ballet to babysitting and volunteering around the city.
